This skinny wok has a honey-combe texture to the carbon steel which will reduce the amount of oil needed to get frying. It also has a flatter base and a shallower bowl compared to a traditional wok, but its 12"/30cm wide so you can still cook enough for 2-3 people.
Carbon Steel must be seasoned and stored in a dry environment. Instructions on how to season your carbon steel wok are on the packaging. Your wok will rust if these instructions aren't followed but look after it and it'll just get better with age!
