Easy Strawberry Jam Recipe

Ingredients

 

900g fresh British strawberries hulled

 

800g caster sugar

 

4 tablespoons of lemon juice

 

1. In your maslin pan crush the strawberries with a potato masher.

 

2. Add sugar and lemon juice. Stir over a low heat until the sugar has dissolved. Increase the heat to high and bring to a full rolling boil. Boil, stirring often, until the mixture reaches 105°C.

 

3. Transfer to hot sterile jars, leaving 1cm head space, and seal.
