Store Spotlight: Banbury

This week we thought we would write about something slightly different, and shine the spotlight onto our fantastic stores. Our local customers will know just how quirky, unique and cosy all of our stores feel to browse and shop in - but rest assured they're just as nice to work in too!

We spent our time in lockdown, not only fulfilling our website orders, but giving our shops some TLC, organisation and restocking so we were ready to open our doors to you lovely people again. The most dramatic change to be seen out of our stores though has to be our lovely Banbury branch.

"The biggest renovation challenge yet, our Banbury shop was discovered in June 2004 in a very run-down condition. Built in 1867, this unique building, listed and in a conservation area, necessitated a complete restoration. Opened in June 2005, local people were pleased to see this once dilapidated building transformed into a thriving business once again."

Our fantastic store has had a thorough sort out and restock on both floors, and our team are raring and ready to assist you. We have strengthened our range of cookware, bakeware, gadgets and LeCreuset on the ground floor so you're bound to find either what you need, or something else that takes your fancy! This floor features brands including (but not limited to): Circulon, Anolon, Stellar, James Martin, KitchenCraft, Masterclass, LeCreuset, Judge, Prestige, T&G, Eddingtons, Culpitts, Newgate, Robert Welch, Global, Wusthoff, Victorinox, and Dexam - phew! We've really pulled out all the stops to fit all of our favourite brands into this unique and quirky building.

Downstairs in the basement, customers can now find a refreshed crockery and glassware section incorporating Maxwell Williams, Emma Bridgewater, Keith Brymer-Jones, Sophie Conran, LSA, Mikasa and much more. However, that's not all! Our electrical section is as extensive as ever, incorporating KitchenAid, Dualit, Magimix, Sage, Nespresso and Cuisinart. Don't worry, we've kept space for all your favourite nifty cleaning products too, as well as our great collection of oriental woks stashed in the display cubby under the stairs. Finally, we've expanded our selection of greetings cards and gift wrapping incorporating Ruth Jackson & Alex Clark cards and Penny Kennedy wrapping too.

There's certainly much to see! Nestled in the heart of the town, our shop is a short hop over the road from both the entrance to Castle Quay Shopping Centre, and the Bolton Road car park too. Be sure to pop in, and let our knowledgable and friendly team assist you in finding whatever you're looking for. Or, feel free to call ahead (on 01295 703030) to check stock of any items you may be searching for.

Our Banbury store is open 9:30am - 5:00pm Monday - Saturday, and Sundays during the Christmas period too!
