Abraxas Cookshop has won the national award for Excellence in Retail Display at the 2006 Excellence in Housewares Awards ceremony organsied by the publishers Progressive Housewares magazine.
Current holders of the Cook & Housewares Retailer of the Year award 2005 - 2006, Abraxas were once again nominated as finalists in no less than three categories in the awards dinner held at London 's Royal Lancaster Hotel on the12th October.
On the night, Abraxas were thrilled to win the Excellence in Retail Display Award as the best exponent of the art in the UK Independent Sector. Directors Helen Sparrow and Sarah George said: "We have some very talented and artistic members of staff on our team and we were delighted to see their efforts rewarded".
